Engineering Technician - 5 to 7 Years Experience Required
Description: Requires a self-starter with the ability to provide technical input for proposals; lead projects as well as perform computer aided drafting
and design work in a variety of engineering, architectural and mechanical fields. Position requires the ability to become self-directed within the limits of project scope.
Requirements: Applicant should be detail oriented, with demonstrated capacity to learn new technologies and work successfully in a team environment. Prior management experience a plus. Successful candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD and MicroStation software, and demonstrate understanding of engineering concepts. Knowledge of Land Development Desktop and Civil Design, GeoPAK, ArcView and ArcGIS would also be a plus, but not required. Design development experience in water/wastewater, architecture, roadway, civil sitework, etc. would be helpful. Must have the ability to analyze client problems, envision solutions and develop those solutions using current state-of-the-art technology in a fast-paced and challenging work environment. Strong related industry experience required; college degree preferred.
